It's so amazing to be back in Perth! We've moved back to Fremantle, beautiful Freo, my fave place in Australia (and I have some qualifications saying that now!) and back on track for a fantastic wedding season. I think when you have a bit of time away, not only do you rejuvenate and replenish your soul, but it makes you think about what really makes you happy. Having nearly three months off work (apart from emailing), has been the best thing for my business. I've had the chance and space to think of lots of exciting new developments I want for White Tulip Photography, as well as personal photography work that I need to make time to create.

And so I was very happy to pop the wedding photography hat back on and capture Jasper and Courtnee's wedding day on Saturday! After a dodgy looking forecast, the weather not only held out but gave us a beautiful sunny afternoon. The ceremony was held at the Ross Memorial Church in West Perth and the reception at AQWA in Hillarys.

Thanks guys for having me along for the day - it was so fantastic to be back photographing weddings - I really do adore my job. I get to meet such funny, lovely, gorgeous people AND I get to create art. It's the best.
