White Tulip Photography bio picture

Welcome to the White Tulip blog!

Hello, I'm Amanda and I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. Given my first manual film SLR from my dad (who also used to be a wedding photographer) when I was 13, I quickly developed a love of the art. I then studied photography throughout high school and at University, teaching media and photography at high schools and finally, becoming a professional. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in my work. There is nothing better than meeting amazing people on a journey in their lives and being able to document part of that journey via beautiful imagery.

This is my blog; my online journal where I document everything from weddings and portrait sessions, information regarding my company, to personal insights into my life, personality and family. I hope you enjoy reading and viewing; comments are welcomed!

If you would like to contact me regarding your wedding photography or portrait sessions, please don't hesitate to call me on 04300 61682 or email info@whitetulipphotography.com.au

White Tulip Boudoir Parties!

Mastura and Yusri Wedding Ceremony

The follow up to Mastura and Yusri’s teaser from Sunday….

A nervous and excited bride and groom. Soooo many cute kids - one of the many reasons I love weddings. Beautiful gifts and flowers and colours and traditions…and a mini-boudoir shoot (well, okay, it’s tradition that they are photographed on the bridal bed - love it!)

I can’t wait until this Saturday for the location portraits and the reception!

Leonie

The very beautiful (and brave) Leonie has very graciously allowed me to show you some of her boudoir pics from yesterday’s session.

Thank you Leonie for trusting me to do my thing! You were wonderful to work with, putting up with me standing on your furniture and getting myself into weird stances to get great angles! :) My personal fave is the one of you smiling - love that you look so comfortable!

Yusri and Mastura: a teaser

I attended Yusri and Mastura’s amazing wedding ceremony on Saturday evening and these are two of my favourites from the actual ceremony. I will blog in earnest tomorrow to show you the rest of the evening.

Thanks to both of you (and your lovely families) for allowing me to share in your wedding - it was a real life experience and a privilege and honour to photograph. Stay tuned for the rest…

Phuket: the rest…

Okay, so here are the rest of the happy snaps from the holiday in Phuket. I know my family is hanging out to see them all and my MIL (hello!) is checking them out tonight so I better post the rest. I apologise for the quality - combination of straight out of camera, old point and shoot and a husband. But memories are memories! I’ve put them in a gallery format as there are a lot so just click on them to make them larger.
